What is Stuffable?
Stuffable is another outlet for self-expression on the web. It is simply a place for your stuff! You’ve got it, you love it and now you’ve got a place to show it off.
Think of it as how blog platforms like blogger help express your thoughts or how photo sharing sites like flickr help convey your memories. Have you ever had something that you loved so much you wanted to show the world, like say maybe your iPhone or something you built? Stuffable is where you show off your gadgets, you collectibles, your furniture, your bookshelf, your accessories or even the fact that you own the cutest dog in the world. Stuffable is like when you walk into someone’s house for the first time and look around at how they decorate and the things they have - knowingly or not you are getting a sense of who they are. Stuffable is a place for cool people with cool stuff; lets see what you’ve got!
Call it materialistic or even superficial, but your stuff is an extension of you - a view into a part of your life that doesn’t define you but perhaps helps describe you. Stuffable isn’t just for Prada purses and Tiffany jewelry, it is for your stuff because it is yours! And because that 92′ Honda Civic you’ve been sporting just isn’t going out of style anytime soon so, show it off!
Can I use Stuffable without signing up?
You can browse - but you can’t comment, rate items, send messages, make offers, or participate in contests without signing up….sorry!
How much stuff can I upload?
During the beta period there is no limit. In the future we may set limits but users invited to participate in the beta will always have unlimited uploads.
What’s the size limit on the pictures I upload?
2MB
How do I do upload a picture?
Click the add an item button you see on the right side of most pages!
Why can’t I add more pictures for each item?
Blame it on Beta…since we are still testing everything there are a bunch of features and functionality that we haven’t released. One day soon you’ll notice it there….
Where are the groups?
They are in the playground page! You can now add a new group, join an existing group, leave or post messages inside group forums, and more!
How do I change my profile?
Click on your picture/avatar and then either click the text you want to change or click the edit button on the right to open up the editable boxes
Can other users see my real name or email address?
Not unless you type it someone on your public profile or item listing…all that stuff is between you and Stuffable only!
Can I start multiple pages?
Sure, why not?!
Can I rearrange my list page?
Not yet…we are working on that. You may see it in the next version of Beta - send a suggestion on what you would like to see!
Whis a tag?
A tag is a quick way for you to remember things or organize stuff. Soon you will be able to do even more with your tags!
What information can people see about me?
The only thing people can see is the stuff you add to your list or type into your profile or the items and descriptions you give!
What should I put in the About Me box?
Hopefully you can describe yourself, what you like, dislike, dream about, what you do, what your hobbies are and more in more than 1 sentence…your stuff says a lot about you but sometimes people like to know more!
Can I change my Stuffable user name?
Nope! You can create a brand new account - but once you choose the username it can’t be changed. Sorry. But, this is due to the fact that each person locks in their unique URL …like www.stuffable.com/users/aaron
How do I add friends?
Anytime you are browsing someone elses items or pages you will see a link in the right column that allows you to add them to your group of friends. In the next version of Stuffable you will have alot of new stuff to do with your friends - like see all their newly posted stuff, see what they are commenting on, and more!
Can anyone leave a comment on my stuff?
Yeah…that’s what makes this thing fun…anyone who is logged in can leave a comment!
How do I know if people leave comments?
Each person has an inbox that shows a blue envelope if you have a new message, comment, forum reply, and offers made. You will also get an email letting you know each time a new notification hits your inbox!
Can I flag something that bothers me?
Sure, once we add that feature. Look for it by soon -we want to make sure the feature works right and keeps out the bad stuff… we are testing it now! Right now if we feel you are abusing the site or posting offensive items that violate our Terms of Use will not be prohibited and your account will be deleted.
Who decides if content is removed?
The Stuffable gods…aka us.
If some of my stuff was removed can it ever come back?
Only if you repost it! But if you repost the same offensive stuff chances are that it will get removed again!
Can my account be terminated?
Sure, we try not to be a buzzkill but if you violate our Terms of Use then we reserve the right to pull the plug on your account.
If my account is terminated, can I sign up again?
Yes, but only if you learned your lesson…
Can I delete photos from my item listing?
Sure - just go to that item and edit photo- then leave the upload box blank and hit save! it will display an ugly cardboard box…we prefer pretty pictures so if you want to replace it rather than delete it that is best!!
Can I keep people from seeing the stuff I post?
Yes…but only if you don’t post it! Stuffable is meant to show off your stuff…so do it!
I forgot my password - how can I get it back?
When you are logging in click - I lost my password…we will send it to your email account!
How do I change my password?
You can get a new one the same way - just click I forgot my password on the home page!

You can’t delete your account on your own - but if you really want to then send us an email to feedback@stuffable.com. Once we are out of beta that functionality will be turned on.
I accidentally deleted my account, how do I get it back?
Not possible!!! Please see above question/answer!
I think someone got into my account, what can I do?
Relax - unless they posted stuff that wasn’t yours - there is not much they can do right now. If you do feel this has happened email us and we can issue you a new password.
I have an idea for Stuffable! How can I suggest it?
On the bottom of every page is some administrative stuff - select the contact us section and send us your idea….or you can just send it to suggestions@stuffable.com

The Stuffable Cup on Facebook
How many items can I enter?
You can enter as many as you want….we recommend spending a few hours going around your house and taking pictures of everything you own and adding each item to the cup! you never know what will get voted for!
What types of items should I add?
Thats completely up to you. Our advice is to have a good story behind that item…most likely a pencil from your desk wont win…but you never know! Please make note of our terms and conditions page as there are some things that are not allowed to be posted on Stuffable.com or the Facebook app.
Where do the items go after I enter them?
Items are viewable on apps.Facebook.com/stuffable or www.Stuffable.com. The facebook app is just one small part of Stuffable - make sure if you signed up for the first time on Facebook to head over to Stuffable.com to view your catalog, rank items, join groups with your friends or people who like the same type of stuff you do, post comments in the forums about anything you want, or even make offers for other peoples stuff!
If I lose can i re-enter that item again in a different tournament?
Sure, some contests will be themed so if your item doesn’t win an un-themed tourney then it may still take the prize in a themed tourney!
What if there is a tie?
Voting isn’t a science and we want to make it as fair as possible so if there is a tie we just look at who added the item first. Its not perfect but it works! In the case of a tie and 2 items being added at the same time then we will look at who signed up as a member of stuffable.com first.
How will i get my prize if I win?
If you are lucky enough to get voted by your peers as the winner of one of our tourneys we will contact you by email and ask for your preferred way to receive the prize. You can have us ship it anywhere you want within the United States! If you are outside the US and win - thats ok too…you just need to pay shipping and handling charges.
Do I have to own the item to win?
Not technically….but it does make the contest more fun! We think people are smart and if a post looks fake it probably wont get many votes! If you want to prove that its yours maybe take a photo of it with your Stuffable name in the picture!!
Can I add items from my catalog to the Cup when I’m on stuffable.com?
yep…its easy just login on Facebook and select the items you have in your catalog from this list!! You only get bonus points if you add items through the FB ap.
Is there any rules on promoting my items to get votes?
Nope - other than you make sure you don’t violate our Terms and Conditions. We believe that spam is bad so promote through your networks and circle of friends and by all means don’t do anything illegal to get votes!!!
What are the Full Rules for the app?
You can go here: http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=8325970508
or read below
How it works
The format of the tournament is similar to the College Basketball’s March Madness Tournament - where 64 teams compete to be called the best. The Stuffable Cup is the same thing - except instead of teams competing - its your stuff that wants to be called the best!
After you have signed up you can add pictures and stories of your stuff into a tournament. The better the stories the more likely you are to get votes - but don’t worry if you don’t have that one amazing item you can still submit your old dirty shoes…you never know what people will vote for! In order to get votes you are going to need the help of your friends… so invite them all to come play and most of all to vote for your stuff. Eventually the best stuff and the person who owns it will win the grand prize!
Tournament Rounds
Open Round
This round is a free for all. Please check the tournament page for details on when the open round for each tournament ends. You can add as much stuff as you like during this round - and the top 64 items will advance to the actual tournament. You can have up to 5 of your items entered into the tournament if you are lucky enough to get that many votes!
Closed Rounds
These are the Rounds of 64, 32, 16, 8, 4, and 2. In these rounds items square off against each other - and the item with the most votes at the end of each round will advance. The rounds will last 4 days each. The winner will be announced at the end of the final round.
The Scoring
Vote totals are affected by votes for an item and bonus votes. You can only vote for an item 1 time per round.
Direct Votes
Direct Item vote = 25 votes are applied to that item
Bonus Votes
Bonus votes are automatically applied to all your items that you have in the tournament at that time. You can get bonus votes in 3 ways:
1. Invite a friend = 5 bonus votes
2. Friend you invited signs up = 5 bonus votes
3. Add an additional piece of stuff* = 2 bonus votes
*You only start earning bonus votes for adding items after you have qualified and only get points if items are added through the FB app - see rules below
The Rules
In order to advance out of the Open Round you must be considered a Qualified Stuffer! To do this you need to make sure you complete the following 4 items:
1. Complete the signup process
2. Enter a minimum of 5 items
3. Invite 2 friends via the invite page
4. Remain an active user throughout the whole tournament
Cheating
If you are caught cheating - by uploading nothing as an item just to get points you will be banned from the tournament.
All items added to the tournament must have a picture. Items cannot have the tile of “stuff” (by itself). You can say - this is my video game stuff. Pictures can be added at Stuffable.com by going to that item and selecting edit photo. Titles and descriptions can also be changed in this same way.
Cheaters Suck - and they can’t win our stuff…so don’t do it.
